Kay-McKenna has been publishing and selling to hospitals and physicians throughout the country the teaching booklet “Everything You Need to Know About Heart Surgery, But Were Afraid to Ask” since 1983. With the addition of the “Everything You Need to Know About Coronary Catheterization and Coronary Intervention”, a teaching booklet that covers the common cardiac conditions that might lead the physician to recommend a cardiac catheterization and interventional procedure is now available.

The preoperative preparation and education of the patient and family are vital factors in the smooth recovery from heart surgery. “Everything You Need to Know About Heart Surgery, But Were Afraid to Ask” is a patient teaching booklet written in easy to understand language and designed to help educate the patient and family to all aspects of heart surgery.

The second booklet “Everything You Need to Know About Cardiac Catheterization and Coronary Intervention” is a patient education booklet packed full of practical information for those having heart diagnostic and coronary interventional treatment procedures. It is written in easy to understand language to help educate the patient and family in the anatomy, workings of the heart and heart disease prevention.
